I think gold would look good with it, although I hate (yellow) gold and no matter what I go for silver or white gold!
Black would also look gorgeous.

Are you doing the whole nine yards, earrings, necklace, etc.? Are you wearing makeup? I would say diamond jewelry would definitely bring out a softer look with the dress. As far as make-up, white and pink eye shadow, blended or one shade than the other shade, on each eye. Whatever you do, keep it light and the jewelry small, not to danty. I dont know your shade of skin to tell you a concealer or foundatain color. Not to noticeable though. Have a good time!

Go for silver or diamond accessories for the old school hollywood glam look… think kirra knightly. Other wise if you want to keep it classic, black is also an option. Don’t go gold, it will just end up looking too old lady.

That color would look good with dark grey (like graphite/gunmetal), or a bronze/orange. A deep sapphire blue would contrast nicely and im pretty sure it won’t come out looking "patriotic".
